Liz Truss, the Prime Minister of Britain has resigned after six weeks in office, the 47, lasted 44 days in office. Because Britain elects a party, not a specific leader, 

Her reign in the office is the shortest ever in British history after she resigned on Thursday not up to two months into her job as Prime Minister.

Liz Truss, poll rating came tumbling down to the lowest ever recorded in the history of a British Prime Ministers, this is due to the aggressive tax cut she rolled out, which was aimed at kick-starting economic growth, but eventually did not go so well, this has led to the central bank intervention.

She resigned after a few weeks of political mayhem, after sacking Kwasi Kwarteng, her close ally and finance minister, on Oct. 14. She will remain in office till next week when the process will take place, and her replacement would be another lawmaker from her ruling Conservative Party.
