Killing Spree Continue In Benue State
Nigeria: Gunmen kill 10 villagers in Benue state.
At least 10 villagers have been killed and many wounded by armed attackers in Nigeria’s Benue state,
The Agatu council chairman Usman Suleiman stated this while addressing some journalists that unidentified gunmen attacked villagers who were returning from the fields early Sunday.
Noteing that the wounded were taken to the hospital. Suleiman said security forces were dispatched and an investigation has been launched.
Motorcycling has been banned in some states because armed individuals have been preparing attacks using them recently.
Benue occasionally sees violent clashes between ethnic Fulani herders and other tribes engaged in farming.
