Ugandan singer Fille Mutoni has bravely shared her personal struggles, including almost contracting HIV/AIDS from her child’s father Edwin Katamba popularly known as MC Kats, and overcoming a six-year addiction to drugs.

Speaking at a church service in Rwanda, Mutoni expressed gratitude for her survival and revealed that she and her child have remained HIV-negative despite her partner’s positive status. She also confirmed her recent move to Rwanda, where she has been supported by her mother and sister.

The singer shared her journey to recovery, detailing her battle with addiction to cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. She credited her faith in Christ and the support of her loved ones for her successful seven-month sobriety.
