Popular Nigerian singer Davido has candidly discussed his experiences with grief in a recent interview. The artist, who has lost several loved ones in recent years, including his mother, son, and friends, revealed that his faith has been instrumental in helping him navigate these difficult times.

In an interview with Mystery Fashionist, Davido shared that he began to lose loved ones at a young age, losing his mother when he was just eleven. He explained that despite the pain, he has remained strong and focused on his music. “I did a song called ‘Stand Strong,’ and I feel like strength and obviously, my faith has kept me going,” he said.

Davido also addressed some misconceptions about his personality. He clarified that while he is approachable and enjoys being around people, there are times when he needs privacy. “I grew up in a big family, I’m used to having people around me,” he explained. “My talent and success is God-given.”
