The controversy escalated when Efia Odo announced her decision to step away from Eats Avenue, advising her followers to visit the restaurant “at their own risk.” This came shortly after Sista Afia’s public doubts about Efia Odo’s claims.

Reacting to Efia Odo’s announcement, Sista Afia took to social media to mock the socialite, seemingly suggesting that Efia Odo’s claims were unfounded. The controversy deepened when Efia Odo blocked a Twitter user who criticized her for not being transparent about the restaurant’s ownership.

In an attempt to clarify the situation, Efia Odo shared documents that appeared to confirm her part-ownership of the business. However, despite the evidence, she still chose to distance herself from the venture.
