Popular Nigerian singer, Blackface, has sparked excitement among fans by calling for a reunion of the legendary music group, Plantashun Boiz. The group, which was formed in the early 2000s and consisted of Blackface, 2Baba, and Faze, achieved immense success before disbanding in 2004.

In a recent Instagram post, Blackface expressed his desire to reunite with his former bandmates and emphasized the power of unity. He urged fans to join him in pleading with 2Baba and Faze to reconsider his proposal.

“Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why?” Blackface wrote. “My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing! Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs.”

The Plantashun Boiz achieved significant commercial success during their time together, releasing several hit songs and albums. However, internal differences led to their eventual breakup in 2004. While they briefly reunited in 2007 for a third album, the group ultimately disbanded again.

As fans eagerly await a response from 2Baba and Faze, Blackface’s call for a reunion has ignited hope for a nostalgic comeback from one of Nigeria’s most iconic music groups.
