The CEO of popular restaurant, Chez Amis, Belinda, popularly known as Big Cheezy, has made a shocking revelation about her entrepreneurial journey. During an appearance on the Delay Show on Saturday, the Ghanaian disclosed that her first business venture, a spa, was forced to close due to persistent harassment from male customers.

The former spa worker turned restaurateur recounted her experiences in the spa industry, admitting that she initially disliked the field. However, after a breakup, she opened her own spa in the Dansoman area.

Unfortunately, the business struggled to attract genuine customers.

Belinda revealed the disturbing details of the harassment she endured, stating that most of her clients were men seeking explicit services. These unsolicited and disrespectful demands took a toll on her, ultimately leading to the closure of the spa.

“The only customers I was getting were men who wanted massages. But when they came, they were requesting ‘happy endings’ after the sessions. And anytime I heard that, I felt disrespected,” Belinda shared.

Overcoming adversity, Belinda found her passion in the culinary world, establishing Chez Amis. The successful restaurant is now a testament to her resilience and determination.
