Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Asamoah has shared insights into her personal life, revealing that she is still unmarried as she approaches her fifties. Despite her age and the absence of children in her life, Asamoah remains hopeful and is steadfastly waiting on God’s timing for marriage and motherhood.

In a candid interview on UTV’s “U-Cook” with Empress Gifty, Asamoah expressed her unwavering faith in divine timing. She shared her belief that she must wait for God’s permission before entering into any relationship that could lead to marriage. This, she said, is her guiding principle, regardless of societal pressures or personal desires.

Asamoah further elaborated on the numerous marriage proposals she has received over the years, including from fellow men of God. However, she has turned them all down, citing a lack of divine approval. “Some came with genuine intentions, others were fake. Until I get approval from God, I will never marry any of them,” she emphasized, reinforcing her commitment to her faith.

In other news, earlier this week, Asamoah faced an unfortunate incident during a rally in Kumasi for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). While performing at the event held at Jubilee Park to introduce Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the party’s running mate for the 2024 elections, her phone was stolen. The theft occurred when Asamoah was momentarily distracted during her performance.

The gospel musician, known for her ardent support of the NPP, managed to continue her performance despite the incident, demonstrating her professionalism and dedication. The loss of her phone, while inconvenient, did not overshadow the significance of the political event she was part of.
