Nigerian music industry giant Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, has opened up about his relationship status. The 41-year-old revealed that he is still single and working on himself to become a better partner.

This comes after a social media user playfully teased Don Jazzy about his frequent interactions with attractive women online. Don Jazzy responded with humor, jokingly calling himself an “ashawo” (playboy) and attributing his single status to that.

However, in a more serious response to another fan’s question, Don Jazzy clarified that he’s focusing on self-improvement. “I dey work on myself so that when my head correct, my babe go enjoy me,” he said. This suggests a more thoughtful reason behind his current relationship status.

This isn’t the first time Don Jazzy has addressed his marital status. In 2021, he surprised fans by revealing a short-lived marriage to American model Michelle Jackson in his early twenties. He has also shut down rumors of a secret marriage and children.
