Would Nigerians Vote For An Alleged Drug Dealer Or Thief At The 2023 Presidential Election?
The presidential candidates of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), have been going at each other, washing their dirty laundry in the public.
These accusations on both sides have been lingering for some time now, Atiku Abubakar former vice president’s, case of stealing funds from the federal coffers and channeling the money through various company accounts he created under Other names, is been in the news for a while, but to lay more credence to the story, Michael Achimugu a former media aide to Atiku Abubakar posted a video on social media, testifying that he is an eye witness to the former vice president many corrupt acts, and he has proofs to support his claims. Let’s not forget the Halliburton bribery scandal, the alleged payment of over $180 million to senior Nigerian officials, including, Atiku Abubakar, by officials of the American firm, to secure a construction contract for a liquefied natural gas plant in Bonny Island in the Niger Delta.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu former governor of Lagos state has been severally called out for the lack of history of his educational background, there has been no proof of the primary and secondary school he attended, and there is the allegation of certificate forgery against him. Not to forget the scandal that has always been a thorn in his political carrier, the case of drug trafficking and money laundry in the United States of America (USA), which has reared its ugly head again in the current 2023 presidential campaign circle.
