The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has arrested a prankster known online as Zfancy in Abuja. The arrest follows the circulation of disturbing prank videos on social media, according to a statement released by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

The videos, filmed in Wuye, Abuja, depicted the suspect allegedly committing serious crimes. These scenes caused significant alarm among social media users. Zfancy reportedly claimed the videos were staged and intended to be comedic.

“Regardless,” Adejobi stated, “such actions have serious implications and cannot be taken lightly.” The NPF is committed to public safety and holding individuals accountable for acts that incite fear or disrupt public order.

Adejobi issued a warning to pranksters and content creators to ensure their content adheres to the law and avoids threatening or endangering the public. The police urged the public to remain calm while they proceed with legal actions in this case.
