British Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don has revealed her deep admiration for Nigeria and its vibrant culture. In a recent interview, Stefflon Don, whose real name is Stephanie Victoria Allen, spoke of her love for Nigerian music, food, and the friendly banter of the people.

She went on to express a particular appreciation for Nigerian traditions, which she feels Jamaicans have somewhat lost. “We’ve just got dancehall, good food and vibes,” she said. “We are just nice people, but we ain’t really got the cultural aspect has been taken away from us.”

Stefflon Don has previously incorporated elements of Nigerian culture into her work. Her music video for “Can’t Let You Go” featured Nigerian dance styles, Ankara fabric, and even used Pidgin and Yoruba languages. Her love for Nigeria even extended to her birthday celebration in December 2022, where she hosted an Ankara-themed party.
