Nigerian rapper Vector Tha Viper has weighed in on the lyrical prowess of Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy. In a recent appearance on the Afrobeats Podcast, Vector suggested that while Burna Boy has a lot to say, he may not be the most skilled lyricist.

“Burna Boy has a lot to say, so let him say it,” Vector said. “But if you have a lot to say, for you to be interesting, you have to be skillful lyrically.”

Despite the criticism, Vector encouraged Burna Boy to continue expressing himself freely. “He has the right to express himself lyrically,” Vector added.

This isn’t the first time Burna Boy’s lyrics have sparked conversation. Last year, he caused controversy on the song “Thanks” from his album “I Told Them,” where he seemed to criticize Nigerians for not appreciating him enough.
