Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi shot down rumors of seeking a new relationship following her split from ex-husband Justin Dean. In a recent interview on the “Heroe’s Diary” podcast, the mother of two revealed her priorities lie in financial security.

Obidi explained her dedication to making money stems from her cultural background and a desire to avoid past struggles. “Being a serious Nigerian woman, when I marry, the man becomes my life,” she said. “Now I’m putting that energy into making money so I don’t end up homeless again. I know nobody is coming to save me, so I need to focus.”

Obidi also addressed those dwelling on her past marriage, which ended over two years ago. “I’m single and not looking,” she declared. “You all keep bringing up this marriage like it defines me. It wasn’t even public! All you saw was an Instagram post. Focus on the present, I’ve moved on.”
