In a recent interview on Gh Highlife show, Flick made it clear that he respects the art of rap battles, but if the insults turn towards his mom, things get real. He said he would personally confront the offender and deliver a beatdown, emphasizing that he holds his mother in the highest regard.

Flick, a pioneer in Ghana’s Asakaa scene, is known for his hard-hitting rhymes, but his momma is off-limits. He explained during the interview that while he can handle insults thrown his way, bringing his mother into the battle is a recipe for a face-to-face confrontation. Flick, who goes by the real name Andy Osei Sarfo, is aware of the influence he holds, especially with young fans. He revealed that his rise to fame has made him move past his own wayward youth, where he admitted to being “stubborn and even a bully.” Recognizing the impact he has on young people inspired him to become a positive role model.
