Ghanaian actor Stephen Atangah, known by his stage name Don Little, shared a story from his time abroad where he was denied entry to a nightclub and almost arrested due to a misunderstanding.

During a recent interview, Don Little recounted a fun night out with friends that went awry. They were excited to enter a nightclub, but security stopped Don Little, mistaking him for a child because of his short stature.

Don Little explained, “I was looking forward to a fun night out, so we decided to try a nightclub. My friends even advised me to bring my ID, but I thought it would be similar to Ghana.”

The situation became frustrating when the security guard addressed Don Little as “little boy” and questioned where his mother was. Even with his friends vouching for his age, the guard remained unconvinced and threatened to call the police if they didn’t leave.

Choosing to avoid further trouble, Don Little and his friends decided to head home for the night. “I couldn’t believe it! He didn’t seem to recognize that this is how I look in Ghana,” Don Little said with amusement.
