It was a fun fair yesterday and it will continue today at the African Food Festival Berlin, people turned up in numbers, groups of families and friends celebrating African delicacies, the atmosphere was joyous, and smiles on the faces of attendees even when they had to wait on long queues to get tickets to the event, for those who did not buy their tickets online, as those who pre-purchase online didn’t have to wait at the gate, then getting to the food and beverage tents, attendees patiently wait in line to buy food from any of the African countries.

What is an African festival without Afrobeats serenading the air, the DJ did justice to the mix that was blaring through the speakers, as attendees sang along and as well grooving to the songs, there is a part set aside as a dance floor, for those who would like a dance and it was packed. Festival attendees turned up making fashion statements. As at about 9:45 pm yesterday on our way out, we still met people at the gate trooping into the festival, rating this event for organization and turn-up, the organizer and attendees did a great job.
