LanguageAfrik: Learn A Language, Know The People, Their Culture And Values
How to Connect Cultures Through Language – LanguageAfrik
Identity crisis is a rampant issue that is barely discussed or addressed. And this problem is a gap longing to be filled through cultural awareness.
One day on the train, a German jokingly asked me what language is spoken in Africa? And I jokingly returned his question by asking him, what language is spoken in Europe? I have gotten the same question from persons from other parts of the world. In order not to disturb my brain, I allow you do the research for yourself by asking about your continent’s language too.
“Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think.” – Albert Einstein
LanguageAfrik is a project idea born out of curiosity to educate people both on the continent of Africa, in the diaspora, and others from other continents willing to learn about the different African languages and their uniqueness.
The objective of LanguageAfrik is to connect cultures through languages, give children, youths, and people the opportunity to connect with their identity, build self-confidence, and learn African languages as it is a powerful tool to get to know people and their cultures.
The languages spoken on the continent of Africa is as diverse as the people themselves, just like the languages spoken in other continents in Europe, America, etc.
