Streetlife International, a German based artist tour and promotion company have taken over in the promotion of the top Afrobeats artist,  Burna Boy, Femi Kuti, Sauti Sol, Diamond Platnumz just to name a few, their German tours are being promoted by Streetlife International.

How did the German based African Afrobeats promoters loose out big on this? Lets go back down memory lane to when Afrobeats music was not given any respect in the western world, when DJ’s wouldn’t play Afrobeats in the clubs, and no radio station would play afrobeats. Who stuck out for the culture? Recently on American TV the Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Afrobeats superstar Davido stated that Africans in the diaspora have been instrumental in making Afrobeats go international.

German based African Afrobeats promoters, are losing out now when they are suppose to be reaping from their hard work. There was a time when they were the only once staking their money on Afrobeats artist, and losing big most of the time because then the attendees to the concerts were mostly Africans.

How have they come short when they are suppose to be enjoying the fruits of their labor, now that Afrobeats have taken over and it’s now a huge business. Is it because German based Afrobeats promoters lack the fund for such events? Or they do not have a proper and well organized promotional company?
