Popular Tanzanian model, Karen Bujulu, has disclosed the true reason behind her split from ex-boyfriend, singer Juma Jux. Contrary to circulating rumors that she was unfaithful, Karen asserts that she was the one who was cheated on in the relationship.

Karen explained that she tolerated the singer’s actions for an extended period, forgiving him multiple times until she could no longer bear it. She stated that she eventually left when she reached her breaking point.

The model clarified her decision to speak out now is due to the false narrative that has been spreading online, especially gaining renewed attention since Juma Jux recently married Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo. She highlighted her frustration with her name being consistently linked to a past chapter of her life that she considers closed.

In a post shared on her Instagram story on Wednesday, Karen partly wrote: “I didn’t cheat. I was the one who got cheated on. I stayed too long. Forgave till I couldn’t anymore… and then I left.” She emphasized that she has healed and moved on, urging fans to respect her privacy and stop dragging her name into discussions about her past relationship.
