Famous Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana, professionally known as Falz, has denied having a relationship with controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky. This denial comes amidst Falz’s ongoing legal battle with social media critic, VeryDarkMan (VDM).

Last year, VDM allegedly leaked a phone conversation between Falz and Bobrisky, which supposedly occurred while Bobrisky was in prison. In response, Falz filed a defamation suit against VDM, leading to widespread speculation about the singer’s sexuality.

During an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday evening, Falz provided an update on the court case, stating that VDM has yet to “enter the defense” after their preliminary objection was thrown out by the court.

Addressing his connection to Bobrisky, Falz firmly denied any prior relationship with the crossdresser. He explained that Bobrisky had messaged him on Instagram, seeking help with a case. Falz stated that he receives thousands of similar requests and, out of compassion, typically lends an ear to understand how he might assist.

Falz concluded by expressing a newfound cautiousness, stating, “As they say, once bitten, twice shy. At the end of the day, I’m not going to, maybe I’m not going to help anyone again in my life, but maybe I will be much more conscious.”
