American singer and actress, Halle Bailey, has been granted a domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper DDG.

The court ordered DDG to stay 100 yards away from Bailey and prohibited him from publicly discussing her or their child. Bailey has also been granted permission to travel with their son to Italy for a two-month filming engagement.

These orders were issued following Bailey’s allegations of abuse against DDG. In court documents filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Bailey detailed an incident in January where a confrontation with DDG allegedly turned violent when he came to pick up their 18-month-old son, Halo.

Bailey claims the altercation escalated when she attempted to discuss a visitation schedule, leading DDG to become aggressive and shout, “Get out of my car, BITCH,” which caused their son to cry.

Bailey also presented evidence including a clip of DDG allegedly damaging her ring camera and throwing her phone, as well as images of her bruised arm and chipped tooth.

The former couple ended their relationship in October 2024.
