Nigerian socialite Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has vehemently denied recent allegations of offering a N15 million bribe to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Following the release of an audio recording in which a voice resembling Bobrisky’s is heard discussing the alleged bribe, the crossdresser has demanded a transparent and independent investigation into the matter.

Bobrisky has dismissed the audio as fake and manipulated, stating that anyone who published it should take responsibility. He has also expressed his readiness to face any legal action arising from the allegations. In a defiant Instagram post, Bobrisky called for an open investigation outside of the EFCC office where he was previously detained. He emphasized the need for a fair and impartial probe that is free from intimidation.
